My dad lives at "Ons Tuiste" in Louis Trichardt, Makhado. He has been living there for several years, and I have been impressed with this institution from the first day. He is happy, well cared for, and it is a wonderfully run organisation. Clean, well kept and organised, without losing the homely atmosphere. The beautiful gardens are well maintained and the residents and guests cannot but admire the beauty of the garden. My dad and all the residents I have spoken to are happy there. The support of the farmers and community is also amazing. Many farmers donate fresh fruit and vegetables to the home. Kitty is the Matron and head of this absolutely well-managed body. The residents are kept busy by organised trips and activities. Staff are friendly and well trained, accommodation is satisfactory and I can only recommend this institution to anyone.
