I’’m advising Arniston Lodge in Arniston is closed permanently. Arniston Lodge closed permanently on 4th April 2017 as advised by the new owner on 11th April 2017. Original owner (Erwin Brigl) refused to "roll over" the booking due to selling the Lodge. New owner (Jolo) advised Lodge was not sold as a "going concern" but outright to a private buyer who will not be operating it as a B&B. Original owner (Erwin Brigl) refused to refund any of the 100% accommodation fee paid, including two breakfasts which were not consumed.
